The Warder Cadbury 19th Century Music and Dance Event, on Sunday, June 9, 6:30 PM Museum Foyer co-sponsored by the National Museum of Dance and the Saratoga Springs Public Library to celebrate the gift of the Warder Cadbury Music Collection from the National Museum of Dance’s archives to the Saratoga Room Historical Collection. The celebration includes selected music played by the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra led by Maestro Gioacchino Longobardi; Jacqueline Royal, 19thC music specialist and pianist and Susan McLane, The Victorian Lady, Victorian cultural educator. Thomas Baird, 19thC dance historian, reconstruct performer and teacher of Baroque music. Marc Casslar, Director, Vintage Dance Society and his dancers in costumes will be performing historic dances typical of this period. This is a free event with refreshments served. www.dancemuseum.org
