The Saratoga Springs History Museum presents Greetings From Saratoga Springs. Summer Fun in the Spa City, an exhibition on view from July 7.
For residents and summer visitors, there has always been so much to do in Saratoga throughout the summer. During the day people could enjoy a day at the races and in the evenings attend a polo match, take in a show at SPAC, or continue racing with an evening at the Harness Track. On a hot day, people flocked to Kaydeross Park on Saratoga Lake. They were thrilled on rides in the amusement park, swam in the pool and Saratoga Lake and played games in the arcade.
This interactive exhibit is fun for families and all ages and is hands on, bringing parts of Saratoga Springs history as a summer
destination to life. The exhibit also has a section where visitors can share their own memories of summers in Saratoga Springs by adding a photo or note to the exhibit about their personal experiences.
