SEATTLE – The Museum of Flight and the National Association of Rocketry celebrate model rocketry with rocket launches, exhibits, family workshops, and a special presentation by Vern Estes, founder of Estes Industries–whose name is synonymous with American model rockets since the 1950s.
Members of the National Association of Rocketry will lead family workshops where participants can build flyable rockets on-site and then launch them outdoors next to the Museum Airpark. Workshops are $5 and include a model rocket. Tickets at the door or online at Museumtix. Museum admission required for all events.
