Museum of Flight and Seattle Repertory Theatre Partner on Program

SEATTLE – On Nov. 21 at noon, The Museum of Flight and the Seattle Repertory Theatre present a behind-the-scenes look at the Rep’s world premiere of the musical, “Come From Away.”

Museum of Flight and Seattle Repertory TheatreThe play–open Nov. 13-Dec. 13–is based on the true story of when 7,000 airline passengers from around the world were diverted to the town of Gander, Newfoundland (population 8,000) after the New York attack on Sept. 11, 2001. The creative staff for “Come From Away” will talk about event and how it was made into a musical. The production’s Chelsea LeValley will perform a song from the show.

The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field halfway between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors 65 and older, $17 for active military, $12 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5. Group rates are available. Admission on the first Thursday of the month is free from 5 to 9 p.m. courtesy of Wells Fargo. McCormick & Schmick’s Wings Café is on site.
