“Stand Up Economist,” Dr. Yoram Bauman Featured Speaker at Museum of Flight April 7 Free Thursday Evening Events

SEATTLE – The Museum’s monthly Wells Fargo Free First Thursday events take on global warming April 7 from 5-9 p.m. “NASA Climate Night: Monitoring Earth’s Climate From Space,” will offer activities, science experiments, and presentations from NOAA and NASA Sea Grant and Space Grant researchers about the latest in climate monitoring and modeling. At 6 p.m. the evening’s special speaker will be Seattle’s Dr. Yoram Bauman, “Stand Up Economist,” economics speaker, stand up comedian and climate change cartoon book author.

There will also be representatives from University of Washington Department of Atmospheric Sciences, The Glenda Project, General Electric, and teens from Seattle Youth Climate Action Network. NASA & NOAA data have revealed that 2015 was hottest year in historical record. April 7 will be a very cool night at the Museum.

5-9 p.m. – Activities and presentations in Charles Simonyi Space Gallery
6-7:30 p.m. – Yoram Bauman, Stand Up Economist lecture and book signing
