Woodland Park Zoo Curator Reveals How Snakes Travel on Planes at The Museum of Flight

SEATTLE On July 30 at 2 p.m., Martin Ramirez, Curator of Mammals at Woodland Park Zoo will share air cargo stories of how wild animals really get around.

Snakes Travel on PlanesThe presentation will be outdoors next to the FedEx Air Cargo exhibit in the Aviation Pavilion. Ramirez will also be showing shipping containers that are used by the zoo to transport large and small animals. From 3 to 4 p.m. Ramirez will answer questions while animal handlers from the Zoo will be on hand with some critters for the Museum visitors to visit up close.This program, When Air Cargo Gets Wild, begins a new series at the Museum called Inflight Insight.
