21 and up #ThrowbackThursday in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum April 13
CINCINNATI – All right stop, collaborate and listen. Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) is back with a brand new edition. CurioCity, CMC’s 21 and up social event series, is throwing it back to the old school on Thursday, April 13 with #ThrowbackThursday where you can party in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum . The party starts at 6:30 p.m.
This is how we do it, it’s Thursday night and we feel all right, the party is here in the West End. Flip the track, bring the old school back because we’re turning the clock back to the 90s so you can relive your childhood by being a kid again in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum. Light bites and a cash bar will be available at the event.
Don’t let MC Hammer fool you. When you come into the Duke Energy Children’s Museum you CAN touch this. Push and pull things down while you’re livin’ la vida loca in the Energy Zone. But don’t go chasing waterfalls. Actually, go ahead. And while you’re at it, explore the other properties of water by floating and splashing around in Water Works.
On your mark, ready, set, let’s go, dance floor pro. Whether you prefer gettin’ jiggy with it or doing the Macarena, you can check out the hook as the DJ revolves your favorite 90s hits for a dance party. You can also hang with Mr. Cooper, Cory and Topanga and the rest of your TGIF friends with a loop of your favorite 90s TV shows.
You can even take a bit of the 90s home with you. Create friendship bracelets, slap bracelets and beaded keychains in KidSPACE, an interactive play lab and the newest addition to the Duke Energy Children’s Museum.
So party on party people, let us hear some noise, CMC’s in the house, jump, jump, rejoice. The entire Duke Energy Children’s Museum is yours to explore for one night only. Grab Angela, Pamela, Sandra and Rita and head to #ThrowbackThursday April 13.
