Muslim of Flight Announce Free Screening of Acclaimed Documentary, “Bombshell: The Heddy Lamarr Story,”

SEATTLE – A free screening of the new documentary about inventor and actress Heddy Lamarr will be on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. The special guest at the event will be Lamarr’s daughter, Denise Loder-DeLuca. “Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story” examines Lamarr’s rich intellectual life-a part of her that was largely ignored during her rise to Hollywood fame. With the inclusion of rare audio tapes and interview clips, Bombshell reveals how Lamarr invented the concepts that are the basis for today’s cell phone and Bluetooth technologies.

The event is being presented by the Museum in partnership with the Royal Aeronautical Society Seattle Branch. RAeS Branch President Pam Valdez will introduce the film. Doors open at 5:30, and seating is limited.
