D-Day Presentation Offers New Look at Normandy Invasion at the Museum of Flight

SEATTLE – For the 75th Anniversary of D-Day comes this fresh perspective on the Normandy Invasion and the following three-month campaign. On June 8, American historian Edward Gordon will deliver a presentation based upon his book with British author David Ramsay, Divided on D-Day. The 2 p.m. program will spotlight the conflicting egos, national rivalries, and professional abilities of the principal D-Day commanders, and how certain decisions may have in fact prolonged the war. A book signing will follow the presentation. The program is free with Museum admission.

Ed Gordon is the author or co-author of 21 books in the fields of history, business, and education. He has been quoted in or written over 300 articles in major newspapers, popular magazines, business publications, and history and education journals.
