D-Day Presentation Offers New Look at Normandy Invasion at the Museum of Flight

On June 8, American historian Edward Gordon will deliver a presentation based upon his book with British author David Ramsay, Divided on D-Day. The 2 p.m. program will spotlight the conflicting egos, national rivalries, and professional abilities of the principal D-Day commanders, and how certain decisions may have in fact prolonged the war. A book signing will follow the presentation. The program is free with Museum admission.
