“Journey to Space” opens May 23, astronaut Nick Patrick guest speaker at May 15 preview event at Museum
SEATTLE – The new IMAX(R) documentary, “Journey to Space,” makes its exclusive Northwest premiere at The Museum of Flight on May 23. The film recalls the glorious days of the space shuttle, reminds us that the space program did not die with the end of the shuttle flights in 2011, and vividly tells the exciting story of the next chapter of space exploration.

Film reviewers, aerospace writers and bloggers, and family attractions writers are invited to a special premiere screening of “Journey to Space” on May 15. Space shuttle astronaut Nick Patrick will be the guest speaker. The reception begins at 6 p.m., Patrick speaks at 6:30, movie screens at 6:45. The movie is 45-minutes in length. For those that cannot attend the May 15 event, the film will be shown for free at the Museum at 9 a.m. on May 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14.
