National Museum of Surveying announces Family Saturday Events

On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, A. Lincoln’s National Museum of Surveying will host a Geography Bee. Students can create their own maps, take a geography bee using the Sphere, and learn the basics of surveying.

The 2nd and 4th Saturdays will be historical lectures about surveying and related information.

The cost is admission to the museum. For the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, the Bee will be from 10:30 to 12:30. The 2nd and 4th Saturdays will vary so please call the museum for more information.

A. Lincoln’s National Museum of Surveying is the only museum of its kind in the country. Far from being just a series of dusty tools and old maps, the museum is dedicated to preserving the legacy of surveying, as well as describing how the story of surveying is the story of America.
