CINCINNATI – When your family visits the Duke Energy Children’s Museum at Cincinnati Museum Center, your kids are learning through play in so many ways. Duplicating the roles of adults in our Kids’ Town area is a perfect example. Now, they can grocery shop for the family at our new child-sized Kroger store! The celebration of the kid-sized Kroger in the new Duke Energy Children’s Museum Kroger Store is 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 29.
The kid-sized branded Kroger grocery store includes mini shopping carts, shelves of assorted Kroger products and reusable grocery bags. We’re celebrating this special partnership between Museum Center and Kroger on Friday, June 29. Join us at 11:30 a.m. for a parade throughout the Children’s Museum, ribbon cutting ceremony with 700WLW’s Jim Scott, giveaways and healthy food for your young Kroger shoppers.
“We’re proud to partner with Cincinnati Museum Center to update the child-sized Kroger grocery store in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum,” said Rachael Betzler of Kroger. “It’s great to see kids learn valuable skills such as learning important nutritional values, and role play with their peers.”
Join us for the grand opening celebration and festive activities on June 29 in Duke Energy Children’s Museum. Activities are free for Museum Center Members or included with museum admission.
