Wichita Art Museum hosts Night at the Movies with the Contemporaries on 28 July

WAM Contemporaries are pleased to partner with Tallgrass Film Association to bring patrons a night of fun, food and film.

Beat the heat by bringing your blanket or lawn chair to an indoor picnic in the Museum’s Burneta Adair River Room at 6:30 pm. Hello I Must Be Going, Opening Night Selection at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, will screen on 28 July at 8:30 pm with a salon discussion following.

A ticket for the film is $15 and may be paid at the door. Enjoy this unconventional love story with a $10 picnic basket featuring a gourmet club or veggie sandwich. $3 drinks will be available for purchase. Call 316-268-4912 by Monday, July 23 to reserve your picnic basket dinner.

The Wichita Art Museum opened in 1935. It is home to The Roland P. Murdock Collection, one of the premier collections of American Art in the country. The Museum is proud to be supported through public and private funds, owned by the City of Wichita and managed by a private entity, Wichita Art Museum, Inc. Located at 1400 West Museum Boulevard, the Museum and Museum store are open Sunday noon – 5 p.m., and Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free through September 30 and scheduled school groups are always free. – wichitaartmuseum.org
