The Foundry Art Centre is hosting an Opening Reception for their newest exhibition – Watercolor II: Paper & Pigment – which opened to the public in late December of 2012.

The opening reception for Watercolor II: Paper & Pigment will take place on Friday evening, January 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
This reception is FREE and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The Foundry Art Centre artists will also be in studio during the reception.
Watercolor II: Paper & Pigment is a juried exhibition encouraging the broadest range of personal styles and applications of the liquid medium. This exhibition was juried by award-winning St. Louis watercolor artist Carol Carter, and the award winners were previously announced before the holidays (see the attached images of the exhibition’s winners):
– First Place/$1,000 Award – Annie Scheumbauer for “Mamo’s Iris”
– Second Place/$500 Award – Steve Morris for “Out on a Limb”
– Honorable Mention – Linda Wilmes for “Wading in the Water”
– Honorable Mention – Michael Chase McNicholas for “Shoes”
– Honorable Mention – Ronnie Cramer for “Purple Softail”
