Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with Cincinnati Museum Center and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County!

Read Across America is Saturday, Feb. 23 in Duke Energy Children’s Museum

CINCINNATI – To get ready for National Read Across America Week we are having a day-long celebration! Join us in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum for a fun-filled day in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday (March 2, 1904).

Children age 12 and under with a valid library card get free admission to the Duke Energy Children’s Museum with the purchase of an adult ticket on Feb. 23!

Special activities presented by librarians from the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County

My 100 Hands

Five-year-old author Lauryn Marie Burks will read her children’s book, My 100 Hands. Books will be available for purchase and autographs.

2012 Difference Maker Honorees: Hannah and Alex Laman

Ten-year-old twins Hannah and Alex share their love of reading with a special activity present information about their organization Adopt-A-Book!

Noon to 2 p.m.
