The Royal Academy of Arts in London presents Holding up Childhood an exhibition on view through 12 January 2014.
An exhibition of work by children and young people mentored by Kids Company, many of the artists have taken inspiration from the Aboriginal works in our Australia exhibition, while others have drawn on themes of loneliness and isolation. Featuring an extraordinary carousel of urban childhood, Holding Up Childhood will give these young people a platform to share their talents, build confidence and take pride in their work.
