Salt Lake City – Join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) for a free workshop aimed at preparing teachers to use the visual arts of Utah across school curricula.
The workshop, 5:30-8:30 pm, Wednesday, December 3, is inspired by the work of contemporary artists Tony Feher and Conrad Bakker, whose works are currently on view at the UMFA. Feher and Bakker draw inspiration from and transform common objects into innovative and contemplative new experiences. Workshop sessions will provide ideas for using everyday objects as starting points for classroom projects across the curriculum. Participants can earn hours toward in-service credit.
