Noah Preminger, Brooklyn-Based Saxophone Sensation, and His Group Join the Michener Art Museum for Jazz Night

World-renowned musicians highlight another all-inclusive evening of jazz

(Doylestown, PA) The James A. Michener Art Museum invites the public to another highly anticipated Jazz Night event on Saturday, February 28. The all-inclusive evening presents the Noah Preminger Group, an eclectic meshing of an all-star rhythm section to create soulful jazz music featuring acclaimed saxophonist, Noah Preminger, accompanied by world-renowned musicians Dan Tepfer on piano, Ed Howard on bass and Rudy Royston on drums.

Noah Preminger, a Brooklyn-based saxophone phenomenon, recorded his debut album at the age of 20. A self-proclaimed risk taker, Preminger finds activities such as boxing and skydiving provide inspiration for his exhilarating sound. Preminger has performed in the US, Europe and Australia, and has recorded several critically acclaimed CDs. He has played with well-known jazz artists including Billy Hart, Dave Holland, Fred Hersch, Dave Douglas, Victor Lewis, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Billy Drummond, George Cables, Roscoe Mitchell, Dr. Eddie Henderson and Dave Liebman.

Jazz Night, Featuring The Noah Preminger Group
Saturday, February 28, 2015 · 8 to 11 pm

Jazz Night is an all-inclusive evening featuring:

8 to 10 pm Hors d’oeuvre reception and galleries open.
Hearty appetizers and desserts presented by Havana Catering. Refreshments presented by River Horse Brewing Company and Sand Castle Winery.

8:30 to 11 pm Concert with one intermission.

Tickets: All reserved with assigned table seating: $45 member / $53 non-member / $25 student with paying adult. Advance tickets only. Seats are assigned in order of ticket purchase. Reception and museum admission included in ticket price.

The Noah Preminger Group performance is sponsored by the Friends of Jazz Night. Annual support for the Michener Art Museum is provided by the Bucks County Commissioners and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
