Noah Preminger

Noah Preminger, a Brooklyn-based saxophone phenomenon, recorded his debut album at the age of 20. A self-proclaimed risk taker, Preminger finds activities such as boxing and skydiving provide inspiration for his exhilarating sound. Preminger has performed in the US, Europe and Australia, and has recorded several critically acclaimed CDs. He has played with well-known jazz artists including Billy Hart, Dave Holland, Fred Hersch, Dave Douglas, Victor Lewis, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Billy Drummond, George Cables, Roscoe Mitchell, Dr. Eddie Henderson and Dave Liebman.

“…a lyrical young tenor saxophonist whose alert work as a leader on three albums has drawn considerable critical attention… taste for luxuriant balladry and occasional free-form exploration.”
