SEATTLE – The Museum’s 21+ party, HangarFest, caps the summer with live dance music, brew/cider/wine and spirits tastings plus food trucks and outdoor games on Aug. 27 from 7-10 p.m. The event takes place in the Museum’s towering Aviation Pavilion.
The ultimate 80s tribute band, Prom Date Mixtape, will be live onstage with a dance floor framed by the gigantic 747 and 787 airliners. Dozens of breweries, wineries and distilleries will serve pours of local craft brews, ciders, wines and spirits, while food trucks will satisfy diverse tastes. Playing fields with Seattle’s favorite outdoor games and diversions will be featured under the wings of classic planes. Partiers can also enjoy some indoor intrigues strolling through the likes of Concorde and the original Jumbo Jet.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m. Tickets $65 general admission/$60 Museum Members and Groups/$30 Designated Driver. Ticket includes tastings and commemorative cup.
