An open-air party in the Pavilion with live music, drink tastings, games and planes
SEATTLE – On Aug. 26 from 7-10 p.m., the Museum caps summer with HangarFest, its annual 21+ tasting party in the towering open-air Aviation Pavilion. HangarFest combines live dance music with pours of local craft brews, ciders, wines and spirits, all under the wings of huge exotic airplanes. Food trucks will satisfy a diversity of tastes, and Seattle’s favorite outdoor games will satisfy playtime passions.
Two bands will take the stage: the “kings of disco” Brickhouse, and “dance like your life depends upon it” Mr. Pink. Brickhouse offers old-school disco funk jams from the 70s—KC and the Sunshine Band, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Bee Gees, Kool and the Gang and more; Mr. Pink performs everything from Dua Lipa to No Doubt, to Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and The Weeknd with a Millennial mash-up remix flair.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets $65 general admission/$60 Museum Members and Groups (Groups must be 10 or more, please call 206-764-5706). $30 Designated Driver. Ticket includes tastings and a commemorative cup.
