Hobby Day at The Museum of Flight

SEATTLE – On Nov. 18, the Museum’s annual Hobby Day pushes the envelope to include hands-on 3D printing, tabletop gaming and games of celestial discovery in addition to incredible model aircraft.

Families can explore their creativity with the North End Makerspace’s 3D printer, embroidery machine and vinyl cutter; discover fantastic worlds of table top gaming with Paizo RPGs, and look to the heavens during demonstrations of new Starry Night Sky boardgame.

Hobby Day also features the masters and masterworks of modeling from the NorthWest Scale Modelers, the National Historic Miniature Gaming Society, and the Lake Sawyer Hawks Radio Controlled Airplane Club.

Hobby Day is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free with Museum membership and included with general admission. The event is part of the Museum’s six-month Art+Flight project (6/23-1/24).
